ShadowShield by Undriel — Last updated: July 28, 2026

By installing or using ShadowShield, you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install the app, or uninstall it.

1. What the service is

ShadowShield is an application by Undriel that installs on your Shopify store to help you detect cloning of your store, protect your digital products, and generate documentation for legal claims. It is a support tool — it does not replace advice from a lawyer and does not guarantee any particular legal outcome.

2. Subscription and billing

The service is billed in advance (monthly or annually, depending on the chosen plan) through the Shopify Billing API, in the currency and manner Shopify processes.
You may cancel the subscription at any time from your Shopify admin or by uninstalling the app. Cancellation prevents the next period's charge; access remains until the end of the period already paid.
No refunds are issued. Payments already made are not returned under any circumstance: not for lack of use, not for having subscribed to try it out, not for a change of mind, and not for the remaining time of a period already paid. Before subscribing you can learn how the service works on this page and on our site.
If you change plans, Shopify applies the corresponding adjustment (proration) to the new charge; ShadowShield does not manage that calculation and does not issue refunds for the change.
We do not process or store card data — that is handled directly by Shopify.

3. Your responsibility as a user

You are responsible for holding the rights to the content (photos, text) that the app protects.
The legal claims (DMCA or others) that the app helps you generate are reviewed, signed and sent by you — they are never sent automatically. You are responsible for the truthfulness of what you declare in them, which is submitted under penalty of perjury by you, not by ShadowShield.
Do not use the app in bad faith to generate false or baseless claims against third parties.
The notice on the copied site is activated by you. The app can show a notice to visitors of a site that reproduces your content, redirecting them to your official store. That feature never activates on its own: it requires concrete evidence that the site copied components of your store and that you activate it manually, case by case. By activating it, you declare that the content is yours and assume the decision and its responsibility. The feature does not damage, alter or block the destination site beyond showing that notice, and never affects your own store or your registered domains.

4. Misuse to protect stolen content

ShadowShield is intended to protect content that you legitimately own. If we detect, or receive a confirmed report, that you are using the service to protect or generate claims over stolen content or content to which you do not hold the rights, your account will be reported and removed from ShadowShield immediately, with no right to appeal or to a refund of money already paid.

5. What we do not guarantee

ShadowShield makes its best effort to detect cloning and unauthorized use, but we cannot guarantee that we detect 100% of cases, nor that a submitted claim results in the takedown of the infringing content — that depends on third parties (platforms, hosting providers, etc.) outside our control.

6. Service availability

We do our best to keep the service available, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance, updates, or causes beyond our control. We are not liable for losses arising from a temporary service interruption.

7. Changes to the service

We may update, modify or improve the app at any time. Normal changes do not interrupt your use — see our Privacy Policy for more detail on how we handle your data in the event of such changes.

8. Cancellation and uninstallation

You may uninstall the app whenever you want. When you do, the active subscription is cancelled and your data is deleted from our systems following the applicable compliance processes (Shopify, and data-protection laws such as the GDPR where they apply) detailed in the Privacy Policy.

9. Platform terms and copyright framework

ShadowShield operates as an application within the Shopify platform. Your use of the app is also subject to Shopify's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, which apply uniformly worldwide. Copyright claims that the app helps you prepare are handled under the notice-and-takedown process of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512) and under international copyright protection recognized by the Berne Convention, to which most countries are parties — so protection is automatic and does not require registration. This English version does not rely on the domestic law of any single country; the Spanish version reflects the Argentine legal framework applicable to users in that market.

We may update these terms occasionally. The last-updated date appears at the top of this document.

Al instalar o usar ShadowShield, aceptás estos Términos de Servicio. Si no estás de acuerdo, no instales o desinstalá la app.

1. Qué es el servicio

ShadowShield es una aplicación de Undriel que se instala sobre tu tienda de Shopify para ayudarte a detectar clonación de tu tienda, proteger tus productos digitales, y generar documentación para reclamos legales. Es una herramienta de apoyo — no reemplaza el asesoramiento de un abogado ni garantiza un resultado legal determinado.

2. Suscripción y facturación

El servicio se cobra por adelantado (mensual o anual, según el plan elegido) a través de la Billing API de Shopify, en la moneda y forma que Shopify procese.
Puede cancelar la suscripción en cualquier momento desde su administrador de Shopify o desinstalando la aplicación. La cancelación evita el cobro del próximo período; el acceso se mantiene hasta el fin del período ya pagado.
No se realizan reembolsos. Los pagos ya realizados no se devuelven bajo ninguna circunstancia: ni por falta de uso, ni por haber contratado el servicio para probarlo, ni por cambio de opinión, ni por el tiempo restante de un período ya abonado. Antes de suscribirse puede conocer cómo funciona el servicio en esta misma página y en nuestro sitio.
Si cambia de plan, Shopify aplica el ajuste correspondiente (prorrateo) sobre el nuevo cargo; ShadowShield no gestiona ese cálculo ni emite devoluciones por el cambio.
No procesamos ni almacenamos datos de tarjetas — eso lo maneja Shopify directamente.

3. Tu responsabilidad como usuario

Usted es responsable de tener los derechos sobre el contenido (fotos, textos) que la aplicación protege.
Los reclamos legales (DMCA u otros) que la aplicación le ayuda a generar los revisa, firma y envía usted — nunca se envían automáticamente. Usted es responsable de la veracidad de lo que declara en ellos.
No uses la app de mala fe para generar reclamos falsos o infundados contra terceros.
El aviso sobre el sitio copiado lo activa usted. La aplicación puede mostrar un aviso a los visitantes de un sitio que reproduce su contenido, redirigiéndolos a su tienda oficial. Esa función nunca se activa sola: requiere que exista prueba concreta de que ese sitio copió componentes de su tienda y que usted la active manualmente, caso por caso. Al activarla, usted declara que el contenido es suyo y asume la decisión y su responsabilidad. La función no daña, altera ni bloquea el sitio de destino más allá de mostrar ese aviso, y nunca alcanza a su propia tienda ni a sus dominios registrados.

4. Uso indebido para proteger contenido robado

ShadowShield está pensado para proteger contenido del que usted es legítimo titular. Si detectamos o se nos reporta de forma confirmada que estás usando el servicio para proteger o generar reclamos sobre contenido robado o del cual no posee los derechos, su cuenta será reportada y expulsada de ShadowShield de forma inmediata, sin derecho a reclamo ni a devolución del dinero ya abonado.

5. Qué no garantizamos

ShadowShield hace su mejor esfuerzo para detectar clonación y usos no autorizados, pero no podemos garantizar que detectemos el 100% de los casos, ni que un reclamo enviado resulte en la baja del contenido infractor — eso depende de terceros (plataformas, proveedores de hosting, etc.) fuera de nuestro control.

6. Disponibilidad del servicio

Hacemos lo posible por mantener el servicio disponible, pero puede haber interrupciones por mantenimiento, actualizaciones, o causas fuera de nuestro control. No nos hacemos responsables por pérdidas derivadas de una interrupción temporal del servicio.

7. Cambios en el servicio

Podemos actualizar, modificar o mejorar la app en cualquier momento. Los cambios normales no interrumpen tu uso — ver nuestra Política de Privacidad para más detalle sobre cómo manejamos tus datos ante estos cambios.

8. Cancelación y desinstalación

Puede desinstalar la aplicación cuando quiera. Al hacerlo, se cancela la suscripción activa y sus datos se eliminan de nuestros sistemas siguiendo los procesos de cumplimiento (GDPR/Shopify) detallados en la Política de Privacidad.

9. Ley aplicable

Estos términos se rigen por las leyes de la República Argentina, incluyendo la Ley Nº 11.723 de Propiedad Intelectual, la Ley Nº 24.240 de Defensa del Consumidor y la Ley Nº 25.326 de Protección de Datos Personales, en lo que resulten aplicables.

10. Cambios a estos términos

Podemos actualizar estos términos ocasionalmente. La fecha de la última actualización figura al principio de este documento.
